Type: Hybrid (F1)
Class: Tomato Rootstock
Characteristics:
Maxifort F1 Tomato Rootstock is a hybrid rootstock developed to provide exceptional vigor and support for long-season tomato production. Highly vegetative and well suited for large-fruited varieties, it enhances plant strength and extends harvest potential. While Maxifort contributes improved vigor and disease resistance to the root system, resistance traits are not passed to the scion. This variety should be used strictly as rootstock, as fruit produced on ungrafted plants remains small, green, and unsuitable for consumption.
Disease Reaction: Fol (Fusarium Wilt Races 1, 2), For (Fusarium Crown and Root Rot), N (Nematode), Pl (Corky Rot), TMV (Tobacco Mosaic), V (Verticillium Wilt)
